John Katinas

John Co-founded Katinas Bruckwick Architecture in 2004 with focus and dedication to accuracy and a commitment to quality design. He inspires others with his creativity and advocates for success of the project.


John is energized by complex planning and design challenges. When designing, he finds existing elements a key consideration, as well as awareness of original materials and building methods/systems. His projects afford him the opportunity to tell a story through architecture.



With over 30 years of experience, John’s architectural credits span a cross-section of commercial, governmental and residential sites. His work is reflective of clients’ business models, sensitivities, and project priorities. He ensures, “From start to finish, this is your project.”


John is a native Washingtonian with strong ties to the metropolitan area by way of his family, community and business involvements.
